Throughout the semester, students involved in Performing History: The Federal Theatre Project<\/em> kept handwritten journals, and were encouraged to create artwork inspired by the material they encountered as well as by their own personal experiences with the subject matter. In addition to their analog, paper-and-ink journals, students created collages, mood boards, and  sketches, both digital and analog. A sampling of these works is provided here.<\/p>\n\n

*I enjoyed compiling the photos of Eleanor. It felt like I was honoring her in some way. I aimed for my collage to have some \u201ceaster eggs\u201d so people will spend time to explore it.<\/p><\/span>
